How will you create my custom pet artwork?

Your pet’s photo is the foundation of every MooWeeStudio artwork. For our standard portraits, we create a custom digital design, print the artwork in separate layers, carefully cut each layer, and assemble everything by hand to create beautiful 3D depth.

If you choose a hand-drawn portrait, we will first create a custom illustration of your pet before transforming it into a layered 3D shadow box.

Can I approve the design before production?

Yes! After completing your custom design, we will send a preview by email for your review.

You can share your feedback or request adjustments before production begins. We will only start creating your artwork after you approve the final design.

How long does the creation process take?

Each MooWee piece is custom-designed and handmade to order.

The creation process usually takes 5–7 business days, including custom design, customer approval, printing, crafting, quality checking, and packaging.

Please note that shipping time is not included in the creation timeline.

How do I send my pet's photo?

After placing your order, you will receive instructions on how to send us your pet's photo.

For the best results, please provide 1–3 clear and well-lit photos where your pet's face, markings, and unique features are visible.

What’s the difference between a memorial portrait and a hand-drawn portrait?

Our standard memorial portraits are created from your pet’s photo using our digital design, layered printing, cutting, and hand-assembly process. They are priced the same as our other standard custom portraits.

Our hand-drawn portraits include a custom illustration created by hand before the artwork is transformed into a layered 3D shadow box. Because of the additional hand-drawing work involved, hand-drawn portraits start at $120.
